Duration: 1 to 2 hours
Arusha National Park is one of the few parks in Tanzania that offers walking safaris. Accompanied by an armed ranger and a knowledgeable guide, you'll have a chance to get out of the vehicle and experience the smaller wonders of the park up close. We highly recommend it as it allows you to get really close to the animals. If you wish to skip the walking, please just let us know during your reservation.
The finest way for anyone on Safari to explore the scents and sounds of the African wilderness is on foot, where you get a rare once in a lifetime chance to be close to wild creatures in their natural environment.
During your walking safari your ranger who is knowledgeable about what you may and cannot do in the presence of wild animals will help you get your finest experience ever in the wild. Our guides know alot about the parks flora and fauna including great knowledge about birds and will offer information on any of the creatures you may encounter.
During the walking safari several unique views will be explored, including the magnificent waterfall in the park’s center, the Ngurdoto Crater, and Lake Momella, where tens of thousands of pink flamingos may be seen often.
